Not affiliated with the RCSI
ReadyForCST is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). We mention the RCSI, the aptitude test and the CST interview only to describe the selection process.
For official information about the tests, dates and eligibility, always check the RCSI’s own guidance.
For study, not clinical care
Questions, explanations and notes are for exam practice. They aren’t medical advice and mustn’t be used to make decisions about real patients. In practice, follow current national guidelines and your local policies.
Accuracy
Guidelines change and content can contain errors. Check anything important against current guidance, and tell us if you spot a mistake.
Your account
- An account is for one person. Keep your login details to yourself.
- We may suspend accounts that share access or misuse the service.
- You can stop using ReadyForCST at any time.
- How we handle your data is explained in our privacy notice.
Cost
ReadyForCST is free. Everything in it is open to anyone with an account, and we never ask for payment details.
